Alternations Solitaire

Alternations Solitaire can be difficult to win, but you can change some game rules on this page to make things easier (more on that later).

Alternation Solitaire gets its name from the interesting pattern that the cards take on the board: specifically one row of cards is dealt face up, then the next row is face down, and so on.

Much like Klondike Solitaire, cards on the tableau are built down (descending) by alternating color (though this rule is configurable) and foundations are built up (ascending) from Ace to King by the same suit.
